Recruit board members at Greater DC Cares' Nonprofit Connection.
Join Greater DC Cares for a Nonprofit Connection on Wednesday, September 15th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at the AARP Building ( 601 E St., NW). There, your organization will be able to recruit from a pool of highly qualified and enthusiastic board candidates who have completed training on board governance and the legal, fiduciary, and fundraising responsibilities of effective board members.
Greater DC Cares has helped local nonprofit organizations recruit board members for nearly a decade. Many candidates who have completed our board trainings have gone on to board leadership positions.
Please plan to arrive between 12:00 and 12:15 p.m. to set up. Metro accesible and parking is available at many nearby garages. Registration through this website is necessary to reserve your spot due to limited space. Nonprofits are limited to bringing one representative. Nonprofit representatives are encouraged to bring organization information and information on board service, and small displays will be permitted.
